Have I ever told you about my day job? Not the being a mum job - that's a day and night job. Not the sewing job - that's a squeeze it when when I have the time job. The actual go to
work, started back last week after my maternity leave job that I really like, day job.
I'm a puppet maker. I don't make marionette puppets, nor the ones that sit on your fingers, not even the ones of the sock variety - I make the fancy kind. Puppets for animation - for television and films. You might have seen some of the things I've worked on (especially if you have teeny children around) - Postman Pat, Bob the Builder, Fifi and the Flowertots, Roary Racecar, Rupert the Bear, The Corpse Bride, Max and Co.
It's really fun.

And last year whilst my belly grew big and round, and a baby grew inside it, I worked on Fantastic Mr Fox. Directed by Wes Anderson, it's a bit of a creepy looking adaptation of the Roald Dahl book.

more about it or seeing more
photos, then please do get clicking. And if you're as excited as I am about seeing these puppets actually move - the trailer is out on Friday. Happy puppeting.
